Is it good to eat raw carrots?

As known, we can eat both raw and cooked or boiled carrots. A great element of our main course is to eat carrots raw and eat too much will cause any damage will discuss. We have benefited from an article published in quora. We can say that he answered our question directly.

Eat too many of these or other healthy fruits and vegetables, however, and you get Carotenaemia. I'm not making the name up: it's an overabundance of carotenoids in your body. These are the pigments that make carrots orange, and if you get too many in your body your skin turns orange too! That's it, though. There's no other symptom. Avoid the diet of daily bags of carrots [cooked or raw] and your skin will return to normal. The amount you'd have to eat to get this condition is extremely high, so I wouldn't worry about it. And if you do want to turn orange, there are faster ways…

PS: Raw veggies have more nutrients than cooked ones (as the nutrients leach out into the water or oil used to cook them), unless they've been microwaved or made into a soup you drink, so are probably better for you. However, raw food is more likely to cause food poisoning if poorly prepared, so wash your carrots before eating them, then do with them as you wish.
