Why spinach is bad for you?
Spinach has an important place among the super foods, but it is said by many authorities that consumption can be harmful. We would like to put the last point on this issue by sharing with you a question asked by a curious person on the internet and answered by the expert. My question: Why spinach is bad for you? and the answer given to it is below.
Donna raw spinach is a super food and very healthy however it contains oxalic acid which can bind with calcium. All leafy green have oxalic acid. Unless you have been diagnosed with a kidney disorder and the doctor has said not to eat spinach, by all means eat it! Most people's body can get ride of the oxalic acid just fine and never have any issues. Some people that eat the typical American diet eat foods that lack necessary nutrients that help remove the oxalic acid thus causing the oxalic acid to bind with calcium potentially causing Kidney stones. I eat a lot of raw spinach and have for years. Just wash it good, buy organic and enjoy the health benefits. I hope this helps. Healthy Wishes wally Bishop C.N.C.
